My Insta-December 2015 |Smugnificent

I have been away from blogging from more than a month and I will avoid listing excuses but I am back and I will try to catch up on my post especially since I am incapable of filming since I have a hoarse voice from the moment I got back from vacation. December's insta-posts are among my favourites and it is always very difficult to chose pictures for them so this post will be indeed picture heavy. So before diving into my photo diary for the last month of 2015 I just have a small announcement concerning the blog.

 It is something that I am thinking since more than a year now and I decided to finally give it a go. From now on my posts (at least the majority of them) will be written only in English. Writing in 2 languages especially the crazy long posts I use to write is sometimes exhausting and often results in writing less and less. In an effort to try blogging a bit more often I will try keeping one language and see how it goes. That doesn't bring any change on my Youtube videos where I will keep filming them both in Greek and English as usual as I got a clear feedback from all of you that you prefer that. So I hope I will have your support in this effort and that I will compensate with more posts that you will all enjoy!

My Insta-November 2015 |Smugnificent

November came and left and it brought cold autumn weather and even some glimpses of winter. Certainly a crazy busy month (but December is even crazier) but I tried to enjoy every little bit of free time.

 

O Νοέμβριος ήρθε και πέρασε και έφερε κρύο φθινοπωρινό καιρό για να μην πω ακόμη και χειμωνιάτικη ατμόσφαιρα. Σίγουρα ήταν ένας τρελός γεμάτος μήνας (και πιστέψτε με ο Δεκέμβριος είναι ακόμη πιο τρελός) αλλά προσπάθησα να απολαύσω κάθε στιγμή που είχα ελεύθερη.

It's been a while since I showed you my picks from the MAC cosmetics Holiday collection Magic of the Night and now that I am using the products for quite a while I decided to post a quick review while the collection is still available (or at least some of the products) in some countries. I certainly hope I am not too late and you will be able to find the pieces that caught your eye.

Πριν λίγο καιρό σας έδειξα  τι διάλεξα από την MAC cosmetics Holiday collection Magic of the Night και τώρα μιας και χρησιμοποιώ τα προϊόντα εδω και λίγο καιρό, αποφάσισα να ανεβάσω ένα γρήγορο review όσο η συλλογή είναι ακόμη διαθέσιμη (ή τουλάχιστον κάποια από τα προϊόντα) σε κάποιες χώρες (από όσο γνωρίζω στην Ελλάδα κυκλοφόρησε πολύ πρόσφατα). New in by Le Petit Marseillais |Smugnificent

A few weeks ago I found a package in my mailbox by Paoletti Public Relations with the latest products by Le Petit Marseillais. I love their stuff because they combine quality, many natural ingredients and good prices. Quite often I review high end and luxurious care products for you and it is known that I love a good luxury treat but I am always very happy when I find great budget alternatives. And for this I can always depend on Le Petit Marseillais.

 

Πριν λίγες εβδομάδες παρέλαβα ένα πακέτο από την Paoletti Public Relations με τα τελευταία προϊόντα από την εταιρία Le Petit Marseillais. Μου αρέσουν πολύ τα προϊόντα τους γιατί συνδυάζουν ποιότητα, πολλά φυσικά προϊόντα και καλές τιμές. Πολύ συχνά  σας παρουσιάζω reviews με high end και πολυτελή προϊόντα περιποίησης και είναι γνωστό πως αγαπώ αυτές τις μικρές στιγμές πολυτέλειας αλλά είμαι πάντα χαρούμενη όταν βρίσκω εξαιρετικές οικονομικές εναλλακτικές. Και γι αυτό το σκοπό μπορώ να βασιστώ πάντα στην Le Petit Marseillais. 

New H&M Beauty line review- does it worth the hype? |Smugnificent

I think that everyone and their mother is aware of the huge revamping the whole H&M Beauty line got. Everything we knew about H&M beauty products belongs in the past and the company launched a huge line of beauty products making everyone in the beauty world to talk about it. So it is certainly an impressive and well talked about launch, the point is of course is it really any good? Or there is no reason to be excited about it?

Πιστεύω πως όλοι ανεξαιρέτως γνωρίζουν για την νέα συλλογή H&M Beauty που κυκλοφόρησε πρόσφατα. Όσα γνωρίζαμε για τα προϊόντα ομορφιάς από H&M ανήκουν στο παρελθόν πλέον καθώς η εταιρία κυκλοφόρησε μια τεράστια συλλογή προϊόντων με αποτέλεσμα όλοι να μιλούν γι αυτή. Πρόκειται επομένως για μια εντυπωσιακή και πολυσυζητημένη συλλογή, το θέμα είναι αν πραγματικά αξίζει όλο αυτό το ντόρο ή αν έχουμε ξεσηκωθεί χωρίς λόγο;

My Insta-October 2015 |Smugnificent

I guess you noticed that I skipped lat month's insta-post, something that I do very rarely but it was a crappy month and I took some time off social media so there were not a lot of photos to show you anyway. October was much better and I was in a much better mood to enjoy time with friends and try out some new and old things beauty-wise.

Φαντάζομαι θα προσέξατε πως δεν ανέβασα insta-post τον Σεπτέμβρη, κάτι που συμβαίνει σπάνια αλλά ήταν πραγματιά ένας πολύ δύσκολος μήνας και έμεινα λίγο μακριά από τα social media οπότε δεν είχα και πολλές φωτογραφίες να σας δείξω ούτως ή άλλως. Ο Οκτώβρης εξελίχθηκε πολύ καλύτερα και είχα πολύ καλύτερη διάθεση να απολαύσω το χρόνο που περνούσα με τους φιλους μου αλλά και να "παίξω" με νέα αλλά και παλιά προϊόντα!

New favourite products by Urban Decay |Smugnificent

I have talked many times either here or in my videos about the Urban Decay eyeshadows being among my favourites if not my most favourite shadows. To be honest for many years I have not been impressed by many other products from the UD line but this is changing rapidly the last year. I am impressed with their liners, enjoy their lipsticks, love the Perversion mascara, hear amazing things about their concealer which is the next in my list to try. So when I visited the wonderful UD store in London, I decided to try out some more of their latest releases, including the Afterglow 8-hour powder blushes and the Revolution high-color lip glosses.

Σας έχω μιλήσει πάρα πολλές φορές είτε εδώ είτε στα videos μου για το ότι θεωρώ τις σκιές Urban Decay ανάμεσα στις πιο αγαπημένες μου αν όχι τις πιο αγαπημένες μου σκιές. Για να είμαι ειλικρινής για πολλά χρόνια δεν είχα εντυπωσιαστεί από πολλά άλλα προϊόντα UD αλλά αυτό έχει αρχίσει να αλλάζει τον τελευταίο χρόνο. Μου αρέσουν πολύ τα μολύβια τους κι ακόμη περισσότερο τα κραγιόν τους, λατρεύω την Perversion mascara κι έχω ακούσει τα καλύτερα για το Naked concealer που είναι και το επόμενο στη wishlist μου για να δοκιμάσω. Όταν λοιπόν επισκέφτηκα το υπέροχο κατάστημα της UD στο Λονδίνο, αποφάσισα να δοκιμάσω μερικές ακόμη από τις πρόσφατες κυκλοφορίες τους, συμπεριλαμβανομένου των Afterglow 8-hour powder blushes και των Revolution high-color lip glosses.

Swiss brands: Revival leave-in treatment by A.N.J.I. |Smugnificent

Some time ago I have reviewed several body and face products by the company Reficis, a Swiss vegan brand and I was very pleasantly surprised. When Marlena (CEO of Refiis) contacted me about sending me something from their partner brand that focuses on hair care, A.N.J.I., I was intrigued. A.N.J.I. stands for Audacieuse, Naturelle, Joviale, Intelligente in French, which means daring, natural, jolly and intelligent. The whole line is 100% natural and vegan. So we are talking about haircare one of the things I am obsessing over more than make-up and about good natural ingredients. Let's see some more details. 

Πριν λίγο καιρό δοκίμασα κάποια προϊόντα περιποίησης σώματος και προσώπου της ετιαρίας Reficis, μιας Ελβετικής vegan εταιρίας και έμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένη. Όταν η Marlena (CEO της Refiis) επικοινώνησε μαζί μου γα να μου στείλει πληροφορίες και κάποιο προϊόν από την αδερφή εταίρια A.N.J.I., που ειδικέύεται στην περιποίηση μαλλιών, μου κέντρισε την περιέργεια. Τα αρχικά βγαίνουν από τις γαλλικές λέξεις Audacieuse, Naturelle, Joviale, Intelligente, που σημαίνουν τολμηρός, φυσικός, χαρούμενος και έξυπνος. Όλη η σειρά προϊόντων είναι 100% φυσική και vegan. If you follow me on Snapchat or Facebook you know why I have been away from blogging and vlogging the last few weeks. Personal and family issues and an extreme workload were too overwhelming and kept me away from posting but I just returned from a long exhausting work trip in Amsterdam and I am slowly getting back to program. So I am back with a long promised review on two new holy grail products in my skincare routine by the company Aesop, all the way from Australia: the Parsley Seed cleansing masque and the Chamomile Concentrate anti-blemish masque.

Προσωπικά και οικογενειακά θέματα καθώς και υπερβολικά ωράρια στη δουλειά με κράτησαν μακριά αλλά μόλις επέστρεψα από ένα μακρύ εξουθενωτικό επαγγελματικό ταξίδι στο Amsterdam και σιγά σιγά μπαίνω πάλι σε πρόγραμμα. My Insta-August 2015 |Smugnificent

After a full, super fun vacation July, August was relatively quiet and full of work. September is  expected to be even more busy and stressful so I tried and keep trying to enjoy the little everyday things and spend as much time I can with my friends. I also feel like I actually need every moment of relaxation possible to keep my shit together. So far it seems it works.

 Μετά από ένα γεμάτο, πολύ διασκεδαστικό Ιούλιο, ακολούθησε ένας σχετικά ήρεμος Αύγουστος με πολύ δουλειά. Επειδή ο Σεπτέμβρης αναμένεται ακόμη χειρότερος από έλλειψη χρόνου και γεμάτος στρες, προσπάθησα και συνεχίζω να προσπαθώ να απολαύσω όλες τις μικρές καθημερινές στιγμές και να περάσω όμορφα με τους φίλους μου. Νιώθω επίσης πως έχω ανάγκη κάθε στιγμή χαλάρωσης ώστε να τα βγάλω πέρα και μέχρι στιγμής φαίνεται πως κάτι γίνεται.
