Smells like Sheer Love...

 Some weeks ago I 've seen at a fellow Swiss blogger's instagram (be sure to check her blog especially if you speak German) that Victoria's Secret products are sold here in Switzerland at Import Parfumerie. I couldn't wait to try these out really because I had heard so many stuff about them but never had the chance in Greece (I believe that they are only available in Athens' airport). I was quite lucky and there was also a sale on Victoria Secret products so I manage to get this at a really good price. Unfortunately because of the sale most probably some scents I wanted to try were out of stock but I manage to find one last piece from Sheer Love, a really nice fresh Spring scent. I am not good with scents I have to admit, so I will just say that the company state's that this smells like white cotton and pink lily . Well I can understand the lily for sure and a freshness. It also contains some chamomile and aloe vera scents. For me it is a really fresh clean sweet floral scent, very discreet and I love to wear it at work (kinda of difficult to work in an office space with other people wearing strong perfumes) or after my showers to feel even fresher. It doesn't stay long as it is expected I believe from a body mist. Well I don't mind a lot as I have already many other perfumes, I wanted a body spray and this contains 250ml that are quite good quantity. If I am correct, initial price is around 17 Fr but I got it for 10 so that makes me even happier for this buy.

Have you ever tried any Victoria's Secret body product? Do you have anything to suggest me?

 Πριν μερικές εβδομάδες είδα στο instagram μια πολύ γλυκιάς blogger εδώ στην Ελβετία (πρέπει να  τσεκάρετε το blog της ειδικά αν μιλάτε γερμανικά) πως προϊόντα της Victoria's Secret είναι διαθέσιμα εδώ στην Ελβετία στα Import Parfumerie (μια αλυσίδα καταστημάτων που ειδικεύονται στα αρώματα κι όχι μόνο). Ήθελα πάρα πολύ να τα δοκιμάσω γιατί ενώ είχα ακούσει πάρα πολλά γι αυτά δεν είχε τύχει ποτέ να αγοράσω κάτι από Ελλάδα (απ´όσο ξέρω είναι διαθέσιμα μόνο στο αεροδρόμιο Βενιζέλος. Ήμουν επίσης πολύ τυχερή και τα πέτυχα σε έκπτωση οπότε το αγόρασα και σε πολύ καλή τιμή. Δυστυχώς, πιθανότατα λόγω των εκπτώσεων πολλά προϊόντα που ήθελα να δοκιμάσω είχαν εξαντληθεί αλλά κατάφερα να βρω ένα τελευταίο κομμάτι από το frangance mist Sheer Love, μια πολύ ωραία φρέσκια ανοιξιάτικη μυρωδιά. Δε τα πάω καλά στο να περιγράφω αρώματα, γι αυτό σας λέω πως η εταιρία δηλώνει πως μυρίζει σαν white cotton και pink lily . Σίγουρα η λουλουδάτη μυρωδιά είναι εμφανής όπως επίσης και η φρεσκάδα που χαρίζει. Επίσης περιέχει νότες χαμομηλιού και  aloe vera. Πιστεύω πως είναι μια πολύ φρέσκια, καθαρή, διακριτική μυρωδιά και μου αρέσει πολύ για το γραφείο (δεν είναι και τόσο ευχάριστο να φοράς βαριά αρώματα σε τέτοιους χώρους) ή μετά το μπάνιο ώστε να παρατείνει την αίσθηση φρεσκάδας. Όπως είναι αναμενόμενο για ένα body mist δεν έχει και πολύ μεγάλη διάρκεια. Δε με ενοχλεί καθώς έχω αρκετά αρώματα και ήθελα ένα body spray για συνεχή χρήση κι αυτό περιέχει 250ml που τα θεωρώ ικανοποιητική ποσότητα.  Το ότι το πήρα και με περίπου 40% έκπτωση με κάνει να χαίρομαι ακόμη περισσότερο.

Which Archie girl suits you the most?

 To be really honest I was not intending to make a blog post or video about these beauties here. I 've bought them about 20 days ago, just when I returned from Cyprus. Archie's Girls is one of the most anticipated collections by MAC. Especially if you are a fan of the comic. So these products are all over the internet and I am was sure that you have seen most of them. Surprisingly when I posted some instagram pics yesterday about what would you like to see on the blog first this is what most of you chose. Well, I thought since I got quite a few stuff from this collection and you really wanted to see them I should make this post for you.

 

  Για να είμαι ειλικρινής δε σκόπευα να κάνω κάποιο post ή video για αυτά εδω τα "καλούδια". Έχει καμιά 20αριά μέρες που τα αγόρασα, μόλις επέστρεψα από Κύπρο. Η συλλογή Archie's Girls είναι μια από τις πλέον αναμενόμενες συλλογές της εταιρίας MAC. Και ειδικά για τους φίλους του comic. Βάση αυτού, τα προϊόντα αυτά έχουν κατακλύσει το internet και ήμουν σίγουρη πως θα έχετε δει τα πιο πολλά σε άπειρα posts. Παρόλα αυτά όταν πόσταρα μερικές photos σε instagram και facebook, ρωτώντας τι θα θέλατε να δείτε πρώτα στο blog, η πλειοψηφία επέλεξε αυτά. Και είναι γνωστό πως δε θέλω να σας χαλάω χατήρι, οπότε μια και πήρα αρκετούτσικα πραγματάκια από τη συλλογή σκέφτηκα να σας ετοιμάσω το post.

 Spring is my favorite season! Spring is colour and love! And I love colour so much! From all the Spring collections I don't believe that there is a product that shouts welcome Spring than this one. The beautiful kohl in Love from Lancome's Spring 2013 In Love Collection in the shade Jade Crush is a true celebration of Spring!

Απ' όλες τις Ανοιξιάτικες συλλογές, δε πιστεύω πως υπάρχει άλλο προϊόν που να καλωσορίζει την Άνοιξη όσο αυτό. Το πανέμορφο kohl in Love από την Ανοιξιάτικη συλλογή της Lancome, In Love, στην απόχρωση Jade Crush είναι ένας πραγματικός εορτασμός του ερχομού της Άνοιξης!

Repstyle collection by Essie

About a week ago, just half a day before I left for my business trip to Cyprus, I received a package from coolbrandz to review one of Essie's new magnetic polishes, in the shade lil' boa peep (you might have seen it on instagram). I have to admit I am usually skeptical about magnetic polishes, they are sometimes hard to use and without impressive results. Additionally they have been done again and again already by a lot from many companies. But when I saw this amazing the repstyle print by Essie, I was super excited! I love the quality of Essie polishes and I always enjoy when they try new stuff beside cream polishes. In fact that is my main complaint from Essie: do more different things. I 'd love to see duos, holos and glitters and flakies and everything but such an amazing brand. Well the magnetics were an excellent idea!

 Αυτό το post αφορά ένα review που μου ζητήθηκε να κάνω από την εταιρία coolbrandz για ένα από τα νέα μαγνητικά βερνίκια νυχιών της εταιρίας Essie, το lil' boa peep, από τη σειρά repstyle. Το ποστ αυτό είναι γραμμένο στα αγγλικά αλλά θα χαρώ να απαντήσω στις ερωτήσεις που έχετε. Όπως θα δείτε με παίδεψε πάρα πολύ στην εφαρμογή αλλά αγάπησα το αποτέλεσμα (και πλέον συνήθισα και τα καταφέρνω ακόμη καλύτερα, όπως θα δείτε και σε μελλοντικές photos στο Instagram). Χαίρομαι πολύ που η Essie αποφάσισε να δοκιμάσει κάτι διαφορετικό γιατί μου αρέσει η ποιότητα των βερνικιών της αλλά μου λείπει η ποικιλία και ξέρετε πόσο αγαπώ τα διαφορετικά βερνίκια. Η collection  περιλαμβάνει 6 αποχρώσεις και από όσο γνωρίζω δε θα κυκλοφορήσει στην Ελλάδα επίσημα αλλά σίγουρα μπορείτε να βρείτε τα βερνίκια online σε πολλά online stores και φυσικά στο ebay. Εννοείται πως η επόμενη απόχρωση που θα δοκιμάσω θα είναι το πράσινο, Croakadily. Έχετε δει τη συλλογή; Ποια απόχρωση ξεχωρίσατε;

Chanel Spring 2013- Illuminating powder

 I consider make up to be art and beauty although sometimes we only look for something simple and practical. Chanel always find a way to remind us the true nature of make up and in her last Spring 2013 collection she has certainly managed to release beauty like no others. For me this is definitely the most desired piece from all the Spring collections  this season. Of course I talking about the incredibly beautiful Illuminating powder (Poudre Signée de Chanel) that I had decided to make mine from the first photos I have seen.

Για μένα το make up είναι ομορφιά και τέχνη παρόλο που μερικές φορές ψάχνουμε απλά για κάτι που θα είναι πρακτικό και χρηστικό. O οίκος Chanel βρίσκει πάντα τρόπο να μας θυμίσει την αληθινή φύση του make up και στη τελευταία του συλλογή για την Άνοιξη του 2013 κατάφερε στα σίγουρα να λανσάρει απερίγραπτη ομορφιά. Για μένα αυτό είναι το πιο ποθητό κομμάτι από όλες τις συλλογές της season. Και φυσικά αναφέρομαι στην απίστευτα πανέμορφη Illuminating powder (Poudre Signée de Chanel) την οποία αποφάσισα πως πρέπει να αποκτήσω μόλις είδα τις πρώτες φωτογραφίες της συλλογής.

Valentine's Day pink-grey make up tutorial

 I admit it, I couldn't care less about Valentine's Day and all these sappy stuff. It is not my thing and it never was. But a few days ago I posted on instagram a look that I had on for a conference presentation and many of you asked for a tutorial because it looked very fresh and easy going. I decided to make a variation for you and I thought that if I really wanted a clean and simple Valentine's look or even better a nice date look this could be a good fit. Sometimes I see some supposedly Valentine looks and I wonder "Are they really plan to go out with a guy in a romantic date like that?". Try to feel comfortable and do not overdo it with your date looks. That stands for makeup and clothes and everything. Leave your super modern looks for your days out with your friends. Especially if you are preparing for a first date or something like that always keep in mind that less is more and that doesn't apply only to your skirt length lol. 

 I have put English subs in this tutorial and you can all watch it if you 'd like. As for the list of products I 've used just go on reading. Enjoy! I am waiting to hear comment on how you liked it or even funny stories about dreadful valentine's day looks you have seen. 

 Πρέπει να το παραδεχτώ δε με ενδιαφέρει καθόλου όλος αυτός ο χαμός περί Αγίου Βαλεντίνου κι ούτε με ενδιέφερε ποτέ. Πριν μερικές όμως μέρες ανέβασα στο instagram μια photo από ένα look που είχα σε μια παρουσίαση σε συνέδριο και πολλές μου ζητήσατε tutorial καθώς έμοιαζε φρέσκο και easy-going. Αποφάσισα λοιπόν να ανεβάσω μια παραλλαγή του και σκέφτηκα πως αν με ενδιέφερε να βρω ένα απλό, "καθαρό" look για τη μέρα αυτή ή γενικά για κάποιο ραντεβού αυτό θα ήταν πολύ ταιριαστό. Δε ξέρω καμιά φορά βλέπω κάποια Valentine's Day looks και αναρωτιέμαι "σκοπεύουν στα αλήθεια να βγουν έτσι σε ρομαντικό ραντεβού με κάποιον;". το σημαντικό είναι να νιώθετε άνετα κι όχι να το παρακάνετε ειδικά σε αυτά τα looks. Αφήστε τα looks που είναι τελευταία λέξη της μόδας για όταν βγαίνετε με την παρέα ή τις κολλητές σας. Ειδικά σε κάποιο πρώτο ραντεβού όπου πρέπει να χετε πάντα στο μυαλό σας ότι "less is more" κι όχι δεν αναφέρομαι στο μήκος της φούστας σας χαχα.

Smashbox Spring 2013 Love Me collection

 One of the brands that are available here in Switzerland and I could not find in Greece is Smashbox, so it was one of the first brands I wanted to try. I had purchased already the Studio Pop Eye palette from their holiday collection (haven't shown it to you yet, most probably soon in a make up tutorial). I liked the quality so when I have seen that the spring 2013 Love Me collection launched in the stores I was really excited. This is a limited edition collection that resulted from a collaboration with the famous graffiti artist Curtis Kulig which is known for his personal "Love Me" tag that he has sprayed all across New York. So let's see what I got from this gorgeous collection!

 Μια από τις εταιρίες που μπορώ να βρω εδώ στην Ελβετία ενώ δεν διατίθεται στην Ελλάδα είναι η Smashbox, γι αυτό και ήταν από τις πρώτες που ήθελα να δοκιμάσω. Είχα ήδη αγοράσει την Studio Pop Eye palette από τη holiday collection (δε σας την έχω δείξει ακόμη, πιθανότατα σε κάποιο μελλοντικό tutorial θα τη δείτε). Πρόκειται για μια limited edition collection, αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας με τον διάσημο καλλιτέχνη graffiti Curtis Kulig, γνωστό για το "Love Me" tag με το οποίο έχει γεμίσει όλους τους δρόμους της Ν. Υόρκης. Πάμε να σας δείξω τι πήρα από τη συλλογή!

Μy Make Up favorites 2012

 Few days ago I uploaded a Greek video for my favorite make up products for 2012. For all you the non- Greek speaking followers I thought it would be a good idea to offer a list (yes it is a huge one lol) of the products I mentioned in this video: my absolute favorites that I recommend all of to try out. I have tried to give a high-end and a drugstore (or at least a more budget) product (well whenever I had one). And because high-end make up can be very expensive and the fact that something works for me doesn't mean it will work for you in the same way, please  try out a sample of the products you find interesting before purchasing. So although it may seem this was an easy task, I love make soooo much that it was very hard for me to decide. I hope I help a bit or give some ideas!Please feel to ask me anything about this products or tell me if you would like me to review some of the ones I haven't already.
