My Insta-May 2016 |Smugnificent

A couple weeks ago, I uploaded a video on my Youtube channel (here in Greek) explaining why I need to take some time off from vlogging and blogging. Since some time now and for the next months, my working schedule is plain crazy taking over all my free personal time. I needed to re-evaluate my priorities for a while in order to manage keeping these rhythms long term.

But as I promised, I will still try to post an occasional post or video whenever I find a bit time and I really want to try not miss my insta posts as they are always a great recap of my months especially for you who don't follow me on social media. I still try to keep in touch through insta, snapchat, facebook and twitter though, where you can always find me as smugnificent.

The beginning of May found me in Paris, or I should better say on my way back from Paris where I was for a work meeting at the end of April. Photos from my one-day visit to Disneyland dominated my instagram account for some days, it was so difficult to choose among all the great pics I got. I am so looking forward to going back there again, hopefully next year for the 25th anniversary celebrations. The rest of the month was full of work with small snippets of relaxed time to enjoy some nice sunny weather we had (well it is again crap currently but well that is Swiss summer). I also had my name day this month which I got the chance to celebrate with my friends finally. I had to fly again to Cyprus for a quick business meeting where the weather was wonderful but I was too busy to enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed the food and the drinks though, a nice taste from home.

Close to my birthday and also my name day month, May involved quite some shopping and presents.  Even more this period when the release of Alice through the looking glass meant a ton of special product releases, from Disney tsum tsums to beauty launches. Oh the Alice maniac in me is having such fun! Uprooted by Naomi Novik has been the book of the month and I was happy to get back to reading before bed. I also tested many new launches and got in mood to experiment with my nails a bit (now I just hopefully need to find the time to do it haha). And most importantly the month closed with my large highly expected US Sephora haul that a friend brought me from her trip! I will do my best to film this soon for you all as I am pretty excited with everything! This recap made me see that I can still find time to enjoy besides my crazy schedule and I am slowly trying to find some balance. How did you enjoy your month? What was the moment that stood out?

  2. It looks like a great month for you Myrona! I would really love to go to Disney Paris with my children, but the little one is two young to enjoy it yet, she's only one. So I think that'll wait a couple of years :)
