Εye Primers Crash Test

 Και ναι επιτέλους αξιώθηκα να ετοιμάσω και το post που σας έλεγα για τα eyeprimers.

  Καταρχήν να ξεκαθαρίσω πως παλιότερα βασισμένη στη λογική, "όσα λιγότερα βάζω στο πρόσωπο μου τόσο καλύτερα", δε μπορούσα να πειστώ για τη χρησιμότητα των eye primers. H πρώτη μου επαφή με τα προϊόντα αυτά ήταν και κάπως απογοητευτική οπότε το παράτησα.

  Εδώ και μερικά χρόνια η λογική μου στο make up μου έχει αλλάξει σε "χρησιμοποιώ ότι μου αρέσει και μου ταιριάζει και βελτιώνει το αποτέλεσμα χωρίς να σημαίνει αυτό μπουκώνω την επιδερμίδα μου" οπότε όταν είδα το δειγματάκι του Insurance eye primer σε μια από τις λατρεμένες μου κασετίνες της Too Faced, I gave it one more try.

  Αρκετό καιρό αργότερα και αφού μου δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσω και το περιβόητο Primer Potion της Urban Decay (από δείγματα που περιείχαν οι κασετίνες Dangerous και Naked της εταιρίας, πoυ προμηθεύτηκα τους τελευταίους μήνες) ήρθε η ώρα για το πόρισμα. Ποιο είναι το καλύτερο eyeprimer για μένα;

And yes I finally after so many months I got to prepare the eye primer post I wanted.
  First of all, I need to state that in the previous years my makeup moto was something like "the lesser I use the better for my face", so I had a difficulty to believe in eye primers. In addition my first try on these kind of products was kinda disappointing so I just said naaaah I don't need this.

  The last few years the way I say make up has changed a lot, I am more a "I use everything I like and it fits me and makes me feel better" kinda girl without that meaning I put 8758351 things on my face and it doesn't breathes. So when I saw the Insurance eye primer sample in one of my beloved Too Faced Holiday palette,  I gave it one more try.
   After I also had the chance to try the famous Primer Potion of Urban Decay (samples from Dangerous and Naked palettes that I got the previous months) I think it's finally time for the crash test. Which is the best eye primer in my opinion?;

MAC mini haul

Aυτό είναι ένα σύντομο mini MAC haul από πριν τις γιορτές ακόμη, με ένα-δυο πραγματάκια που αγόρασα από την εορταστική συλλογή καθώς και κάποια βασικά πράγματα που ήθελα και εκμεταλλεύτηκα το -30% της Glamourcard. Ορίστε λοιπόν τι αγόρασα τελευταία από τα MAC.

 This is a mini MAC haul from before the Christmas holidays with a few things I got from the holiday collection and a few more basics that I wanted and got with -30% using the card from the magazine Glamour. These are the last things I've bought from MAC.

DIY Necklaces and bracelet

Πριν πολύ καιρό, κοντεύουν 3 μήνες είδα αυτό το post της honestly...wtf για το chainmail necklace αποφάσισα να το φτιάξω. Λίγο το ότι έχω μανία με ότι έχει κρίκους, λίγο με το ότι έψαχνα κάτι οικονομικό σε χρυσό χρώμα για το λαιμό ξεκίνησα να προμηθεύομαι τα υλικά. Το χρειάστηκα κρικάκια και κούμπωμα καθώς το έκανα πιο κοντό από ότι το αρχικό DIY. Χρησιμοποίησα κρικάκια με διάμετρο 10χιλ. και μόνο μία μυτερή πένσα αντί για 2 φλατ που χρησιμοποίησε η honestly...wtf.

About 3 months ago I 've read this post of honestly...wtf about a chainmail necklace and I decided to make it. Ι am in love with jump rings and I was looking for a golden necklace and also not to cost me a lot, so I bought the jump rings and a clasp. I made it shorter than the original DIY project. I used 10mm jump rings and only one chain nose pliers, not 2 flat nose pliers that honestly...wtf used.

Την προηγούμενη Δευτέρα με αρκετό καιρό καθυστέρηση από την επίσημη ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας ήρθε και στην Ελλάδα η συλλογή της Daphne Guinness για τη MAC.

Last Monday, after a delay of few weeks, the collection of Daphne Guinness for MAC came finally in Greece.

 Ξέρω πως κάποιες θα δείτε το post διστακτικά και θα ακολουθήσουν σχόλια τύπου, πάλι συνεργασίες και συλλογές ο Kaiser: Που αλλού θα τυπώσει την φάτσα του; Τι άλλο θα κάνει για τα λεφτά; Και λοιπές τέτοιες απορίες... Δεν αδικώ όσους κάνουν τέτοιες σκέψεις. Από την άλλη βέβαια δεν με νοιάζουν τόσο οι προθέσεις που κρύβονται πίσω από την κάθε επιχειρηματική κίνηση του Lagerfeld. Για μένα ο Kaiser είναι ένα σύμβολο του χώρο, μια ιδιοφυΐα της μόδας κι έχω αναγνωρισμένο soft spot, όπως και πολλές άλλες γυναίκες. Εκεί βέβαια πατάει και το επιχειρηματικό του πνεύμα αλλά ας όψεται... Όταν είδα λοιπόν την exclusive for Sephora limited edition συλλογή, μόνο για Ευρώπη και Σιγκαπούρη δε μπόρεσα να συγκρατηθώ!

 I know some of you will be full of doubt reading this post, with comments like "another one of Kaiser's collaborations" or "is there any place we haven't seen his face on" or even "what will he do for some more money"... I can understand from where comments like that come from but personally I don't really care about the intentions behind Karl Lagerfeld's every business movement. For me, Kaiser is an icon, a fashion brilliance and I have a known soft spot for him like many other women. Well, that's where his business spirit count on but who cares. So when I saw this limited edition collection for Sephora, available only in Europe and Singapore, I could stop myself!

 Μπορεί να λένε "φοβού τους Δαναούς και δώρα φέροντας"  όταν όμως πρόκειται για πολυαγαπημένους φίλους που έρχονται από το εξωτερικό με διάφορα καλούδια που δεν μπορείς να βρεις στη χώρα σου μάλλον αισθάνεσαι ενθουσιασμό παρά φόβο! Ανυπομονώ να σας δείξω τα καλούδια που παρήγγειλα στην κολλητή μου από τα Lush από Ολλανδία καθώς κι ένα special δωράκι από Λονδίνο από ένα καλό μου φίλο!

  Americans use the expression "Fear Greeks bearing gifts" but when the greeks we are talking about are my beloved friends and they are bringing me goodies from abroad that I can't find in Greece, the correct feeling isn't fear but enthousiasm! I couldn 't wait to show you all the beautiful Lush things I ordered my best friend to bring me back from Holland and also a special gift from a good friend from London!
