Swiss Brands: Soie- douce line by Reficis| Smugnificent

A couple months ago  I reviewed a cool body scrub from the Swiss vegan brand Reficis and I was very happy not only with the product but also with the brand's philosophy about ingredients. As I had written then I wanted to try a few of the brand' s face products since I have read really good reviews about them. Recently Reficis launched a new line called Soie-douce (silk soft)  with products which have been formulated to provide hydration, softness, brightness but also regeneration to all skin types. Since this line targets the whole family including young children and pregnant women it contains no (or very small quantities) of essential oils something that makes them perfect for all sensitive skin. Some weeks ago, Marlena (Reficis' CEO) contacted me to send me a few products to review for you which I am trying since then and I have been quite impressed.

Πριν μερικούς μήνες ανέβασα ένα review για ένα πολύ ωραίο body scrub από την Ελβετική vegan εταιρία Reficis και έμεινα ικανοποιημένη όχι μόνο με το προϊόν αλλά και με την όλη φιλοσοφία της εταιρίας σχετικά με τα συστατικά που χρησιμοποιούν. Όπως είχα γράψει ήθελα πολύ να δοκιμάσω και μερικά προϊόντα προσώπου της εταιρίας καθώς είχα διαβάσει πολλά θετικά reviews. Πρόσφατα η Reficis λάνσαρε μια νέα σειρά προϊόντων που λέγονται Soie-douce (silk soft)  και παρασκευάζονται ώστε να παρέχουν ενυδάτωση, λάμψη, απαλότητα και αναζωογόνηση σε όλους τους τύπους επιδερμίδας. Επιπλέον επειδή η σειρά απευθύνεται σε όλη την οικογένεια συμπεριλαμβανομένου μικρών παιδιών και εγκύων, δεν περιέχει (ή έχει μόνο πολύ μικρές ποσότητες) αιθέρια έλαια κάτι που κάνει τα προϊόντα τέλεια για ευαίσθητα δέρματα. Πριν λίγες εβδομάδες, η Marlena (CEO της εταιρίας) επικοινώνησε μαζί μου για να μου στείλει μερικά προϊόντα της σειράς για review τα οποία δοκιμάζω από τότε και έχω μείνει πολύ εντυπωσιασμένη.

The first product I tried is the soie-douce shower gel. It comes in a tube, containing 100ml of product and retails for 9.95CHF on the Reficis website. It has a very liquid-y consistency and you need just a bit to wash your body really nicely. It foams but not too much and it gently washes and soothes your body. It contains citrus oil, organic argan, malva sylvestris organic extract, panthenol and glycerin among others and as all Reficis products it has no parabens, silicons or mineral oils. All ingredients are vegan and 99% natural. I think it is a very nice shower gel with a fresh scent and although I usually tend to choose more strong scents, I think this would be perfect for people with more sensitive skin. Its small size, makes it great for travelling especially since we are so close to summer vacation but it would be nice to see this in a much larger bottle for home, since it is great for the whole family.

Next I have two face products which both come in similar packaging, a slim bottle with a pump, containing 50ml each. The soothing restorating cream aims to hydrate, nourish, regenarate and calm the skin. It is targeted to all skin types which is something I was at first a bit hesitant about. Usually this kind of moisturisers tend to have thick consistency and to be heavy to normal or oily skins but this is one of the most fluid creams I have tried. It contains organic lavender, organic argan, malva sylvestris organic extract, organic jojoba and panthenol (again 100% vegan, 99% natural ingredients). I like the scent and I can certainly pick up the lavender in it. It is not crazy strong but it makes it even nicer to use in the evening (which is when I prefer to use it) as I link lavender with sleep and relaxation. This retails for 69.90 CHF.

I saved my favourite for last! The moisturising mask comes in the same exact packaging (which I love as all bottles with pumps) and retails for 54.90 CHF. This one surprised me again as it is amazingly lightweight. It contains malva sylvestris organic extract, vegetable glycerin, rice protein, kaoilin, coconut oil, grape seed oil, helianthus seed oil and urea. You apply it and leave it on for 10-20 minutes and it feels like a moisturising cream. After I wash it off my skin feel so hydrated and soft but not heavy at all. I loved the mask and I use it twice a week so far. 

In summary, I was impressed with these products from Reficis' soie-douce line. I think that everyone can find something for their needs but especially people with sensitive skin looking for the products with natural ingredients and light, gentle formulas will be absolutely happy with this brand! 

 Ελληνική εκδοχή

Το πρώτο προϊόν είναι το soie-douce shower gel. Έρχεται σε σωληνάριο που περιέχει 100ml προϊόντος. Έχει πολύ υδαρή σύσταση και χρειάζεσαι πολύ μικρή ποσότητα  για να πλυθείς. Αφρίζει αρκετά άλλα όχι πάρα πολύ και καθαρίζει το δέρμα απαλά χωρίς να το ερεθίζει. Περιέχει έλαιο κίτρου, οργανικό argan, βιολογικό εκχύλισμα malva sylvestris, πανθενόλη και γλυκερίνη και όπως όλα τα προϊόντα Reficis δεν περιέχει parabens, σιλικόνη ή mineral oils. Όλα τα συστατικά είναι vegan και 99% φυσικά. Πιστεύω πως είναι ένα πολύ ωραίο αφρόλουτρο με φρέσκια μυρωδιά και παρόλο που συνήθως επιλέγω αφρόλουτρα με πιο έντονες μυρωδιές, νομίζω πως είναι ιδανικό για άτομα με ευαίσθητο δέρμα. Το μικρό του μέγεθος το κάνει ιδανικό για ταξίδια αλλά θα μου άρεσε να βγαίνει και σε μεγάλο μέγεθος κυρίως γιατί είναι ιδανικό για όλη την οικογένεια.  

Σειρά έχουν δύο προϊόντα περιποίησης προσώπου που έρχονται σε παρόμοια συσκευασία, ένα πολύ όμορφο μπουκάλι με αντλία και περιέχουν 50ml το καθένα. Η soothing restorating cream στοχεύει στο να ενυδατώσει, να θρέψει, να αναζωογονήσει και να ηρεμήσει το δέρμα. Απευθύνεται σε όλους τους τύπους δέρματος κάτι για το οποίο ήμουν επιφυλακτική στην αρχή. Συνήθως αυτού του τύπου οι ενυδατικές  έχουν την τάση να είναι σχετικά πυκνή σύσταση και να είναι βαριές για κανονικά και λιπαρά δέρματα αλλά αυτή είναι η πιο λεπτόρρευστη  κρέμα που έχω δοκιμάσει. Περιέχει βιολογική λεβάντα, οργανικό argan, βιολογικό εκχύλισμα malva sylvestris, οργανικό jojoba και πανθενόλη (και φυσικά 100% vegan, 99% φυσικά συστατικά). Μου αρέσει η μυρωδιά και καταλαβαίνω σίγουρα τη λεβάντα. Δεν είναι υπερβολικά έντονη αλλά κάνει την κρέμα ακόμη πιο ευχάριστη για να τη χρησιμοποιώ το βράδυ (που συνήθως τη χρησιμοποιώ μόνο βράδυ) καθώς έχω συνδέσει τη λεβάντα με χαλάρωση και ύπνο. 

Για το τέλος άφησα το αγαπημένο μου προϊόν! Η moisturising mask έρχεται στην ίδια συσκευασία (που πραγματικά λατρεύω). Και αυτό το προϊόν με εξέπληξε καθώς έχει ιδιαίτερα ελαφριά σύσταση. Περιέχει βιολογικό εκχύλισμα malva sylvestris organic, γλυκερίνη, πρωτεΐνη ρυζιού, καολίνη, έλαιο καρύδας, έλαιο κουκουτσιού σταφυλιού, έλαιο ηλιόσπορου και ουρία. Την απλώνετε και την αφήνετε 10-20 λεπτά και είναι σαν να βάζετε ενυδατική κρέμα. Αφού την ξεβγάλω αισθάνομαι το πρόσωπο μου ενυδατωμένο και απαλό και δε το νιώθω καθόλου φορτωμένο. Πραγματικά μου αρέσει πολύ η μάσκα αυτή και τη χρησιμοποιώ δύο φορές την εβδομάδα.  

Συνολικά, είμαι εντυπωσιασμένη από αυτά τα προϊόντα από την soie-douce σειρά της Reficis. Πιστεύω πως ο καθένας μπορεί να βρει κάτι που του ταιριάζει στη σειρά αλλά ειδικά άτομα με ευαίσθητο δέρμα που ψάχνουν για προϊόντα με φυσικά συστατικά και ελαφριές, μη επιθετικές φόρμουλες θα ενθουσιαστούν με αυτή την εταιρία!
